Filling of DEPB Applications Date Extended for Shipments Before April 1,2002 In respect of shipments where the date of
order of Let Export was prior to 1.4.2002, the last date for filing DEPB applications has been extended upto
31st March 2004. In this regard the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a Public Notice No.33 dated 14th
November 2003.
Public Notice No.26 dated 10th December, 2003 amends Paragraph 3.2.2 of the Hand Book of Procedures Vol. I allowing to
file the status certificate application by either the Registered Office or Head Office or Corporate office in the case of
a company as per Administrative convenience.
Import of Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) will now be allowed through State Trading Enterprises as per Notification No.24
dated 25th November, 2003
As per Policy Circular No.19 dated 11thNovember, 2003 second hand photocopier machines, air conditioners, diesel
generating sets etc. can not be permitted for import under EPCG Scheme.
Policy Circular No.20 dated 14th November, 2003 issues clarification/guidelines in respect of nexus under EPCG scheme.
Policy Circular No. 21 dated 3rd December, 2003 clarifies that while collecting the DEPB rates for export of products
covered under formulations under schedule of DEPB rates, nearest rounded figures should be taken into consideration.
The validity of Advance Licences/DFRCs/Annual Advance Licences for import of Natural Rubber has been extended upto 31st
March, 2004 as per Policy Circular No.22 dated 11th December, 2003.
