  1. Public Notice No. 64(RE-03)/2002-2007 dated 12 May 2004, amends Para 3.12.1. of Hand Book of Procedures adding the products for which RCMC can be obtained from the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council. Further name of the Council has also been added at Appendix 27 pertaining to the list of EPCs/Commodity Boards.

  2. Public Notice No. 65(RE-03)/2002-2007 dated 18th May, 2004 makes addition/correction/ amendment in the Book titled – “Schedule of DEPB Rates” in respect of some items under Product Groups “Engineering”(61), “Chemicals”(62), “Electronics (83), “Textiles (89)” and “Miscellaneous” (90).

  3. Policy Circular No. 34 dated 18th May 2004, clarifies that the provisions of Public Notice No. 41 dated 28.01.04 regarding time period for filing applications under DFRC and DEPB Schemes will applicable to exports made or realizations obtained on or after 28th January 2004. In other words, Shipping Bills with "let export order date" or Bank Realisation Certificates dated prior to 28th January 2004 will not fall under Public Notice No.41.

  4. Import of Raw Cashew nuts has been exempted from the formalities of the PHA Release Order as per Policy Circular No.35 dated 21st May 2004.

  5. ALC Circular No.1 dated 31st May 2004, in partial modification of ALC Circular No.4/2003-04 dated 21st November, 2003, provides guidelines for issue of Advance Licences for Import of Spices.
