- Malpe in State of Karnataka has also been notified as the Port for loading of “Coffee Husk” for exports by
Notification No. 31/2004-CUS.(NT) dated 4th March 2004.
- Notification No. 35/2004-CUS.(NT) dated 19th March 2004 prohibits hazardous waste as specified in Schedule 8 of the
Hazardous Waste (Management and Handling Goods 1989) from import into India and Export out of India.
- Customs Circular No. 22/2004-Cus. dated 3rd March, 2004 provides option for provisional clearance/assessment of
consignment in the case of classification disputes.
- Customs Circular No. 23/2004-Cus. dated 15th March, 2004 issues guidelines for testing of imported textiles/textiles
articles for its composition and hazardous dyes.
