- Vide Notification No. 97/2003-Cus. Dated 25th June, 2003, restrictions have been removed regarding exports from India
under various export promotional schemes which were earlier restricted only through the Sea Ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva,
Kandla, Chennai & Kolkata as per Notification No 84/2003 -Cus.
- Vide Notification No.42 (NT) dated 25.6.2003 Duty Drawback rates for non-alloys steel and alloy steel forgings have
been withdrawn and entries of these products have been deleted from the Duty Drawback Schedule w.e.f. 1.7.2003.
- Vide Customs Circular No.46/2003-Customs dated 5th June 2003 change of Ports in the shipping documents, pending
amendments in AEPC certificate, for hosiery exports has been allowed.
- Revised Norms for execution of Bond and Bank Guarantee under Advance Licence and EPCG Schemes have been announced vide
Customs Circular No.48/2003-Customs dated 6th June 2003.
- Customs Circular No.49/2003-Customs dated 10th June 2003 prescribe the guidelines for considering the request for
exemption from payment of customs duty under Customs Act.
- Vide Customs Circular No.5048/2003-Customs dated 12th June 2003, movement of export cargo to Bangaladesh by the Inland
Waterways route from Haldia Docks complex has been allowed as per Customs Procedures.
