- Notification No.53/2003-Customs dated 1st April 2003 has been issued exempting goods imported against a Duty Free
Entitlement Credit Certificate issued under Paragraph 3.7.2.1 of the Export and Import Policy.
- Notification No.54/2003-Customs dated 1st April 2003 has been issued allowing duty free import of goods against a duty
free service entitlement certificate issued under Paragraph 3.8 of the Exim Policy.
- NotificationNo.55/2003-Customs dated 1st April, 2003 has been issued to EPCG Scheme of the Exim Policy.
- NotificationNo.56/2003 Customs dated 1st April, 2003 has been issued in respect of Advance Licences for Annual
requirement issued in terms of Para 4.1.7A of Exim Policy.
- Notification No.57/2003-Customs dated 1st April, 2003 amends Notification Nos 43/2002-Customs dated 19.4.2002;
45/2002-Customs dated 22.4.200; 46/2002-Customs dated 22.4.2002 and 47/2002-Customs dated 22nd April, 2002 relating to
Advance Licence, DEPB, DFRC and Advance Licence for Deemed exports respectively.
- Circular No.24-2003-CUS dated 1st April,. 2003 allows admissibility of duty drawback on supplies effected by DTA units
to Special Economic Zone.
- Circular NO.25/2003 dated 1st April, 2003 has been issued in connection with changes made in duty exemption schemes,
EPCG Schemes, etc. of Exim Policy 2002-2007.
- Circular No.26-2003-Customs dated 1st April, 2003 specifies the guidelines for permission to send out goods for job
work by EOUs/EHTP/SEZ units.
- Circular No.29/2003- Customs dated 3rd April, 2003 gives details of consolidating the Notifications governing the
EOU/EHT/STP/SEZ schemes.
- Circular No.30/2003-Cus dated 4th April, 2003 highlights the Salient features of Self-assessment scheme for accelerated
clearance of Import / Export Cargo
- Circular No.31/2003-Customs dated 7th April, 2003 has been issued regarding Administrative control over EOUs/SEZs.
- Chief Commissioners have been authorized to consider the request for waiver of interest in case of re-export of capital
goods vide Circular No.32/2003-Customs dated 7th April, 2003
- Circular No.33/2003-Customs dated 24th April, 2003 has been issued regarding Adminsitative control over ICSDs/CFSs.
- Circular Nos.34/2003-Customs dated 24th April, 2003 and Circular No.37/2003- Customs dated 28th April, 2003 have been
issued regarding Standard set of guidelines for appointment of Custodian of EPZs/ICDs/CFS
- Circular No.35/2003-Customs dated 25th April, 2003 has been issued regarding clarifying that the re-verification of the
supplementary DEPB scrips issued in terms of DGFT Notification 62 dated 17.2.2003 need not be done.
