  1. Public Notice No.21 dated 1st August, 2003 makes amendments in General Note Sl.No.2 (for food products) of HBP Vol.II and as per this amendment now import of Cloves, Cinnamons, and Cassia is allowed under Advance Licence with prior import condition.

  2. Public Notice No.22 dated 4th August, 2003 makes amendments/corrections/additions in the book titled Schedule of DEPB Rates in respect of Sl. NO. 65, 121, 437, 498 & 583 of product group Engineering and Sl. No.36A of product group Textiles.

  3. Rare Earths, Ors Concentrates and Compounds of Monazite (Code No.2614) and other Minerals (Code No.2617) will now be freely exportable as per Notification No.19 dated 18th August,2003.

  4. Policy Circular No.13 dated 18.8.2003 extend time limit for submitting Data for review of DEPB rates upto 30.9.2003. EPCs have now to submit only 10 copies of Data Sheets.
