This has reference to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) circular IECD. No 15/04.02.02/2001-02 dated 3rd January 2002 on export credit to processors/exporters in Agri-Export Zones wherein guidelines have been issued to banks to provide packing credit facilities to the processors/exporters in the Agri-Export Zones under the extant export credit scheme.

RBI has clarified that the credit facilities as detailed in the above circular dated 3rd January 2002 are available to exporters of Agricultural Products/ Agri-Export Oriented Units (Processing) located outside the Agri-Export Zones also under the extant export credit guidelines.
